Our luxurious Merino Lambswool is one of our favourite yarns yet! This fine, super soft yarn is an incredible yarn to work with, helping you to create light, airy yet warm and textured woven designs. Available in 36+ colours, these yarns will add variety to your collection of yarns and give you the versatility of working with it in both warp and weft on your hand loom or tapestry loom.
Equally suitable for both hand-weavers and contemporary tapestry weavers alike, this 2-ply yarn is well suited to be sett at 16EPI in a traditional loom set up, creating the most beautiful handle when woven as a balanced sett.
Ideal projects for this yarn include scarves, throws, cushions and finer woven projects. But when plied together to create a much fuller yarn, our Merino Lambswool will also give incredible texture and fullness to tapestries, adding dimension with a fringe, as tassels or as a super thick weft yarn in wall-hangings.
