What will I learn?
Working with textile designer and hand-weaver Cassandra Sabo, participants will be exploring the wonderful world of 3D textiles in this fun and creative workshop!
In this practical workshop Cassandra will guide students through the many different ways of translating visual information into beautiful texture. She will demonstrate a number of exciting new techniques to create texture in woven designs, share her insights of how to select and prepare yarns and fibres for a project and help students translate their ideas into practical, textured samples for future reference.
Working in a fun and creative environment, students will be working individually and in a group to connect ideas with outcomes and generate a series of samples for their next creative project.
