We have been upgrading our packaging and all of our medium & large Yarn Starter Packs now come in packaging that is kinder to the planet! So pop our new clear, compostable bags into your compost heap to do your bit. =)
Easier to handle yarns and fibres
Many of our packs now feature easy-to-handle tapestry bundles, skeins or yarn ball/cakes. This will help make sure your yarns arrive in the best condition, will help you avoid tangling your yarns while weaving and will serve as a reminder how to best store your yarns when not in use.
Each pack contains:
- 3 x Coordinating colours of 23.4 micron Merino wool roving
- 2 x Super Chunky Merino wool
- 1 x Kilcarra Tweed wool
- 2 x Cotton Cord (1.5mm- Small, 3mm- Medium & 5mm- Large)
- 1 x Cotton 4-ply warp yarn
Pack Weights:
- Small: 60g
- Medium: 275g
- Large: 550g
Sourcing our yarns sustainably
Our yarns are mainly supplied by UK-based suppliers, many of whom we have been working with for years. We have also used these yarns extensively in our own work so can highly recommend these yarns as we have tried and tested them ourselves.
